The Global Environment Information Centre was set up at the Aoyama office jointly by Ministry of the Environment and United Nations University with the aim of promoting environmental conservation through the building of equal and fair relations between people from various aspects of society (citizens, businesses, government).
The JEA engages in the supporting tasks at the Global Environment Information Center, which is managed jointly by the Ministry of the Environment, the United Nations Unizersity and the Environmental Partnership Council(EPC).
