The vision of the JEA is that the association builds bridges between people who strive to create a sustainable society and sets up and supports a system that many can participate in and utilize.

The following are the four priority areas of the JEA.

• Environmental education and learning
• Realization of the green market
• Prevention of global warming
• Measures to restore the soil environment

The purpose of the JEA is to contribute actively to the realization of a sustainable society, as well as to the creation of Japan, a state that adheres to the principle of environmental conservation. This will be achieved by developing its activities focusing on the four priority areas while utilizing its advantages in order to fulfill the vision mentioned above.
